    Scan free Gift!

I don't know if this has ever been suggested but instead of having a free gift after placing quite a large priced order of £350+ have you ever thought of introducing a % discount bonus at diffferent price levels? Just a thought to get a away from owning 5 free calculators and 45 keyboards I know they could sell on Ebay but I'd rather have a discount? You may already have a similar deal with trade customers I don't know. Just a thought.

I've had a so-called cheap keyboard for about a year, and it's outlasted 2 dear ones in that time... not bad for a "freebie"

I've had network cards, firewire cables and mice so far

Gotta love the freebies, they always seem to come in handy somewhere down the line.

It just got me thinking while ordering from screwfix. They have a similar idea with free gifts and the more you spend the more you save. I normally spend about £900 a time with screwfix and it saves alot of dosh.

Thanks for passing word! Just I'll be upgrading the whole system as soon as these new r520 cards from ATI appear. So could save me money in the long run instead of a sooper dooper Fantasmrgorical Ivory keyboard

Changes with the deal for today - usually spend over £100 and you get whatever the gift of today is.

Exactly... a couple of friends who are also customers have had freebies have told me that the keyboards, mice, modems, etc have come in useful when least expected

    Free gift

A mate of mine ordered the Creative X-FI Elte pro & on my recomendation got it from Scan when it came the free gift was a cradle for a Palm !!!!! He phoned me puzzled & asked why on earth would scan think he wanted this cradle as he dont even know what a palm is. The only reply I could think of at the time was "Scan have got an uncanny knack of knowing what you want before you do" the reply was "eeerrr hhhhmmm oh right" He hasn't mentioned it since. A bit of a strange gift all in all surely Scan could find something with a little more wider appeal I'm not moaning I think scan are great. Im in IT & as such take care of a few local Companies IT needs So order quite a bit on Thier accounts from Scan & always had great service this gift just left me a little puzzled.

    Digitizer...............
