Logitech G5 Gaming Mouse - Stopped Tracking

I'm having a problem with a Logitech G5 Gaming mouse, the tracking just seems to have stopped. At first I thought it was a USB / Driver related problem. But then I noticed that the buttons on the mouse work fine, i.e. if you right-click you get a menu, and if you use the back button, you'll go back a page.

It's just not moving the cursor, like the laser has just stopped working, unfortunately these laser mice don't have a red LED to indicate when the sensor is active or not. Its really quite annoying, the mouse is only 4 days old.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to bring the little bugger back to life? Or is it going to be a case of getting logitech to replace it?

P.s. I've tried the mouse on different PCs with the same results.

Ha! Never mind, it's the surface, it wasn't reading the mouse pad.

Note: IceMats (glass) and Logitech G5 Laser Mice, don't mix.

Yea, no worries, you might want to make a note on the site for the ICEMats that Laser Mice (i.e. the Logitech G5) just don't read off them, prolly because they're glass? My other Logitech MX510 (L.E.D optical, reads it very well, superb mouse mat, except for laser mice )
