dont forget to add courier fee to that mate. you'd bee looking at

    498 USD + 47.13 usd shipping = 545.13 USD

    = £307.61

    + 3.5% import = £318.37

    +17.5% VAT = £374.09

    +2% or £10 UPS handling fee = £384.09

Total cost per unit = £192.05

Not bad - but more hassle than good old scan doing it for less ;o)

If you email me - you wont get anything.

If you email the offers team, that may be another matter.

It steams pretty much any media format (including WMA lossless and flac) *from* your PC, via your wireless network, to your hifi. Also includes the ability to stream 'net based radio.

And using the remote control provided you can select which tracks you want, do searches and all sorts (you install some software on your PC to so this).

Best of all, the software runs on a variety of operating systems...

I'm quite partial to it. Actually, no, I WANT ONE NOW.

To clarify. It streams WMA, MP3, FLAC and WAV/PCM direct from the server PC. WMA Lossless, Ogg and whatever it is itunes uses is transcoded to any of th native formats before being sent to the player. SlimServer and a SqueezeBox does not handle any DRM files (ie. ones you bought from an online music store) at the moment, although i believe this is in the roadmap for the future.

It's unlikely to happen tonight sorry, although I will do my best to get it done as early as possible tomorrow.

(PS: this isn't really my area - i've just been trying to hurry things up as there was so many people interested in this gadget.)

THE best music streaming solution, bar none. Simply awesome and nothing else really comes close. If you have a Sony PSP or PDA etc, you can use the severs web interface to control it wirelessly too.

BTW, it does native OGG too.

well not quite native Ogg, but i think it is handles out of the box. Ogg files will be transcoded to WAV, MP3 or FLAC.

see http://www.slimdevices.com/ for general info about the SqueezeBox3 and http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_specs.html for some technical specs
