chaps im a noob on the PSP, does the new rom support WPA encryption over a home network.

also do most of the uk games support good online tinternet play?

I want to sit downstairs in my living room while slapping some eurofruit on PES5 without changing my network security from WEP to WAP

is this possible? is the online play laggy?

    2.0 firmware does WPA-TKIP, 2.5 does WPA-AES.

    Sounds good doesnt it?

I think basically it means the newer firmwares support more standards... but I'll leave it for someone more technical than I to correct me

WPA encryption used on a home wifi network is more secure then WEP encryption.

if u dont use any encryption, any kiddie with a wifi device within 60 or so metres of your house could access your network and your files or use your internet connection
