    SATA2 hard disk

    SATA2 mean that has the capability to run at 3.0Gb/s rite? coz SATA is only 1.5Gb/s.

    i was just wondering why the SATA2 hard disk that i order has the label for SATA and not SATA2.

    SATA II does not guarantee 100% that the drive will be 3 Gb/s capable.

    Please see the following url for an explanation of what the SATA II marking means ;

    We've put that the SATA II does not guarantee that the drive will work at 3 Gb/s on the overview of the SATAII drive section.

    Looks like nobody reads them afterall

    Would it be a bright idea to put some info of the drives into the product description? Or a better idea in the product spec tables you have list all the Sata II features and have ticks / crosses next to each one to indicate whihc features the drive has.
