    SATA-II Cables

Does anyone know the actual benefits from using SATA-II rated cables over standard ones? i.e. some benchmarks or something?

I'm currently getting 97Mb/s average rate from my Striped 2x WD2500JS's (using SATA 1 cables)

IIRC the main difference is that sata II cables (god i hate calling them that) have clips on them to secure them better

    Hi

Yup As Herulach said, thats the main benefit, as the Sata cables can be very flimsy and easy brake your SATA port if your not careful....
