    256MB XFX PCI-E *Extreme* GF7800GT *450 Core 1.05Ghz Mem* (256bit) ViVo 2xDVI Call of

I just receieved my new Geforce 7800GT today and was surprised to find that the heatsink wasn't black and the fan didn't have a LED on it.

Have XFX stopped making this or have you sent me the wrong card? It looks exactly the same a a standard reference model.

Im kinda dissapointed because I bought this card especially because it had a different design and feel a little hard done by that the card isnt any different but i paid a premium for it.

If you can answer this question I would be grateful.

    Hi,

The Card are exactly the same but without the LED, but that has been taken off the website, you can return the item if not fully satisfied within 7 working days.

Ah, i too just ordered this card about 10 minuutes ago thinking it was the one review in CustomPC with the LED's.

If it's really EXACTLY the same card i happy - i'm forced to have too many LEDs already. But are you sure it's only the LED thats different? I though it had a better HSF and was pre-overclocked?

    Dear all

Please read my last post in this thread: http://forums.hexus.net/showthread.php?t=60868

In a nutshell, it's the same card, but XFX have had to ship a load with the reference heatsink rather than the Xtreme blac/LED/flourescent green versions as they couldn't meet the demand for the cards in the run-up to Christmas.

I actually have both of these cards the LED and the New None LED version. If you order one and it arrives without the LED you'll notice it has a sticker that still says EXTREME EDITION on the front meaning its been Pre-Overclocked at the factory!

Just missing the LED's and tbh they loook crap anyways.
