    Problem with ram

hi I recently bought a K8N diamond motherboard, some other items, and 2 x 1GB ram modules. The problem is they both come up on the computer as 2 x 512mb ram modules. Is this a problem with the motherboard or is it the ram modules incorrectly labeled?

Also in have in my bad luck a ASUS 6600GT OEM graphics card that doesnt work and I have bought it with another one and that one works perfectly. So do I just take it into SCAN to get a replacement?

    Thank you in advance

By all means bring both the memory and card back, the memory is more than likely compatability issues.
