Unhappy VGA output too bright on Asus A8N-VM CSM

    Hi,

Finally got all my bits together and have noticed the output from the VGA is far too bright. If I go into the BIOS, the white text is all blurry as its so bright

No amount of tweaking the settings in Windows or on my monitor can give me a decent looking screen.

Does this sound like a faulty board?

After playing with a fancier monitor at work, it seems the level of green being thrown out by the vga is far too high - turning it down on the monitor gives me a correct-ish looking picture.

Obviously I am unable to do this on a TV as it would screw up the picture on the other inputs, so can I class this as a faulty motherboard - although if I RMA it and you say its ok, could I get round any extra fees by asking for a refund as I ordered it less than 28 days ago?

Ok, time to test the customer service - I've sent a request to RMA the board for a replacement
