Thumbs down Why do i feel i am banging my head against a brick wall here?

My faith in Scan is continuing to waver. I know there is already a thread on this, but it getting bloated.

I have been mislead over and over again. I was told time after time that you would be getting SB3's in stock. Fair enough, if you have supplier problems that's not your fault. But then i was advised to pre-order to make sure i got it for xmas, which i did, yet doing this now seems actually prevented this from happening.

Anyway, i phoned 3 days ago and was told that the item had come into the warehouse, but had not been checked off. I was also told i would "Definitely get it Friday". After not getting any confirmation email i called again, to be told pretty much the same thing. Then today, I'm told it never even came in!

This is practically the only thing I'm getting for xmas (apart from the odd pair of socks) and I'm gutted i did not order elsewhere as i could have got one days ago from another store, who have all sold out now and there probably wont be another shipment into the UK until next year. And as a refund takes 3+ days, there is not chance i can order elsewhere, even if they had any left.

I know its a busy time of year, but please could you guy stop issuing, "Maybes", "Probably's" and even bloody "Definitely" when you really have no stock and no idea of when it's coming in, if ever.

This is twice i have been told i would "Definitely" get something from Scan in a month, a twice a have lost out on a days work to be at home for the delivery.

I'm normally a fairly patient person, but I'm really p****d off now sorry. Nothing under the xmas tree for me this year.

    Dom.

The last we heard from our suppliers was Wednesday this week when they stated they would be sending limited stock out to us which we should have recieved yesterday or today.

As far as I know the delivery hasnt arrived as yet however I shall double check with the Goods In department and let you know.

Please note it may take a few hours to get a response from the goods in dept as they are very busy at the moment trying to book all the deliveries onto the system

Thanks, but given that every other UK retailer that stocks them had them in days ago, i guess its a faily safe bet you wont.

Could you be honest with me here, if the supplier sent them out on Tuesday, which i know they did from talking to other retailers, would you have not had them delivered or on your system yet?

Well the email we had from suppliers (as indicated in the previous post) was on Wednesday which advised they would send limited stock to us for yesterdays delivery.

Normally they would have been booked in by now however with the vast amount of deliverys we are getting means the goods in department is slightly behind.

    Nah we wouldnt do that

We know it can be frustrating as it seems from your point of view we keep moving the goalposts however we are just passing the information on that we have at that particular moment.

Just an update I have one on the managers currently chasing this with the suppliers to see if they have definately been shipped as goods in are still a little behind with the booking in of goods

Wht the hell is going on? I just spoke to your customer services and they say the SB3 has not even come in yet?! Plus they spoke to the warehouse, who he said told them they had not seen any.

hI we just spoke on the phone (Scan Retail Sales Manager) - I have chased this up already and they 100% arrived Last Wednesday

    http://www.city-link.co.uk/pod/podfr...6&hidebanners=

It was signed for by our staff member at 15:45 on the 14/12

I know this does not mean much; but it is in fact the Squeeze box delivery.

Now the reason for such a delay in getting the items booked into stock, its basically down to the amount of incoming deliverys ( being extra large for christmas) and having warehouse staff off i'll due to a bad flu type bug thats going around the building which added together is making it very hard to book the items into stock.

As when all the deliverys are all coming @ once ( which can be 5 to 15 pallets) and can quite often block off sections of both our warehouses

But i am still chasing these items and have requested them to be booked into scan ASAP.
