    Xmas eve delivery cost

I'm getting a new computer for Christmas and looking to buy some presents for my present (7800GT/RAM/PSU). As my local supplier (CCL) are now listing all their 7800GTs as direct shipment this causes me problems, you see I don't get paid until the 23rd so don't have time to wait for that.

So, as the chances of me getting a new computer system and NOT immediately replacing the onboard graphics with something shinier are somewhere close to zero I took a look at Scan and noticed you are doing Saturday pre 12 delivery on the 24th but I couldn't find a cost for this. Using the City-Link base rates as a guideline I'd guess this is around an extra £15 but would appreciate an exact figure. I presume there's not a cat in Hell's chance that the Hexus free delivery offer applies to this

Thanks for the quick reply. I presume a morning order will pretty much guarantee it goes out the doors on Friday?

Unfortunately £300+ would make my bank account cry, I get paid on Friday (at which point I can afford it) hence the need for Saturday delivery

There was a thread a while back where someone had a problem that citylink would only deliver on saturday if that was the next day, so if it was ordered on a monday they tried to deliver his shipment on tuesday and he had to get scan to nag them before they agreed to redeliver on a saturday
