Asrock DualSata2

I bought an Asrock DualSata2 motherboard from you just before Xmas and have been using an AGP card in it until now. I have just bought a PCI-E 6600 from someone on these forums but it isnt working in my computer. I have outlined everything in this thread:

As I have never tried any other PCI-E card in this motherboard, and have no others to do so, is it possible that the PCI-E slot on the motherboard could be broken? I'm just trying to figure out all possibilities why it isnt working.

If it is the PCI-E slot on the board, do I have any comeback with you guys as the board was bought in November?
