    Corsair Memory for Dell Laptop

Would like to know please if the following items have similar specifications

    LN10739 - Corsair 256MB DDR2, 533 MHz - £36.47

    LN9890 - Corsair Value Select PC4200 (533) DDR2 SO-DIMM 200 Pin CAS4 - £17.63

LN10739 should work in a Dell Inspiron 1300 laptop as that's what was recommended by the Corsair Memory Configurator. Just need to know if the other one does.

    Thank you.

    Sorted.

Rang up and spoke to a very helpful bloke called Carl.

Just in case anyone else has bought a Dell Inspiron 1300 on the cheap from Dell and wants to upgrade the memory, the cheaper one won't work due to Dell's non standard spec. Basically Dell would like you to buy their own memory at rip off prices.

I ordered from Crucial at under £25.
