I have found that a decent powersupply is the heart of a stable system. Not knowing what the spec of your PC is, I cannot work out its power consumption, but I highly doubt that it will require 400w, let alone 500. Therefore it would probably be better to choose a smaller, but higher quality power supply

Something by the likes of tagan or seasonic may be expensive, but will be a lot better.

    cheers for the reply.

in the booklet which came with my motherboard, quote - " when useing Sli mode, you need at least a 500watt power supply "

ill be adding a clear side on my pc, so i was looking at something abit " bling " lol.

i presume that the end of the cable which connects to your hdd , motherboard ect... are just standard? its the part which connects to the power supply which is fancy?

Yes you can <------ (Map here!)

And if it's for a Collection, remember to use the Q-Collect facility:

How to place a Q-Collect order:

1 - Place your order online.
2 - Select collection on the payment option screen.
3 - When you have completed your order, and recieved your stage 3 (order completed) email (or SMS) - come to collect (remembering the card used for transaction, and additional form of ID - to prove your identity).
4 - Simply go to the Q-Collect counter on the right of the Reception area.
