bad axe - Intel D975XBX Motherboard

Ive had 2 P5W's so far, the first one overclocked like hell but had a dud main PCI-e slot, the second one wont boot unless I run ram at SPD

Hope the 3rd one is right



btw both came with Bios 0401 which wouldnt boot with my conroe. I needed to 'borrow' a P4 to flash the bios.

this above board is in stock from a competitor for £56inc vat

is a crossfire ready board and should support SLi via hacked drivers.

might be worth considering as a stopgap / cheap board.

(is not too big in the overclocking department, but its only £56
