    watercooling pump relay

    i need a 240v pump relay to switch my pump on when the pc comes on
    there is ones that fit in pci slots but i dont have a free one so i need a different option
    any ideas ?

    Assuming you are comfortable and safe doing mains wiring...

    Get a normal relay switched with 12V across the coil and sufficient contact current rating to run the pump.

    Wire the coil to a hard disk molex connector across the ground and +12V wires so that the relay will be turned on when the PC is started.

    Wire a 240V supply through the relay contacts and run it to the pump.

    Would only take 10 minutes to solder one up

    just ordering a relay and some connectors
