Scan sold me a faulty router

Well I used them for a lot of stuff and cant fault them but Ive just found out that I've got a faulty router, bought it off them around 2-3 months ago but I had major problems with dropped lines disconnections etc

I basically blamed my isp and it was only until BT came round the other day and tested the line and found it was fine.
Their test showed zero errors while my routers was puting out allsorts of rubbish.

where do I stand with this as obviously i've had it a while but its no good.
I have all the packaging etc but are they going to accept it back after such a long time, even though I've done nothing wrong?

2-3 Months? should be no problem. You are entitled to a 1 year garantee from the point of sale.

Might be a difficult one for them to fault find on, but i'm sure the customer service guys will do their best, they usually do

Will probably be Tuesday before they can do anything though, being a bank holiday and all.

oooh , now thats going to be difficult. You will most likely end up with the a replacement , providing its proven to be faulty.

Been down that road many times . I always make sure if I want to change it for something else I come within 7 days , They have been very nice to me in the past where they have changed the mobo type cos everything I was buying from them end up not working or had conflicts or compatibilaty . I emphasise that they were nice to change it and could have just told me to get lost (in a nice way that is) and legally I could have not done anything about it.

Well I bought a Draytek but off a different site as it was out of stock on scan.

Surely if I have a years warranty and its faulty then Im entitled to a full refund?
I'd be happy to keep the business with them and take something else off them instead to the same value but there's no way Id take another one of these modems.
I don't even thing they sell it anymore?

I believe the law states that you have 28 days within which you can have refund after that goods are deemed used and you enter into repair/replacement territory (I could be wrong though, this is just my understanding)
