    External 2.5" Drive Enclosure..

Mate of mines gone and bought himself a bigger 2.5" drive for his macbook thing, but the ones hes got is larger than a standard 2.5" drive, its 1.3cm deep as opposed to the normal sub 1cm..
So he wants an external usb/firewire caddy for it, he likes the look of the Akasa P series but they dont say how big physically a drive they can take.
I would of thought something with a fan if possible but will leave it to your guys suggestions...

hmmmmm. he might have to go for a 3.5" case and use 2.5 to 3.5 adapter brackets. not seen a fat 2.5" case.

Sorry Trig, it seems all the housing we have only accept the standard laptop sized drives and not the bigger ones.

Yeah they are rare but slowly filtering through now

We only have the 1 SATA enclosure for 2.5" drives but this is currently out of stock without an ETA I'm afraid, and this can be found here
