    Asus P5W DH Availability

Hi all, just wondering when you were going to get stock of this motherboard? I ask because i notice that newegg in the USA has it, and i have a conroe that is desperately needing a new home, and i'd much rather get this than the bad axe. While Intel may have turned a corner re overclocking, it still isn't fantastic yet.

    Cheers
    Don

Yeah, I too would like to know.

There are a few places in the UK that stock them already. Do a Froogle on p5w-dh and you will see, about 10 places.

    Prices ranging from £140 - £180

Im hoping Scan will be nearer the £140 range

I want to buy that motherboard, it looks a nice design but not sure yet the price is a bit expensive 150£.

I hope scan will do a better price for us.

So where's this legendary Scan customer service then? No replies all week? Not very impressive to my mind.

Mine from KustomPC has just arrived - VERY pleased with it so far. Has clocked up to 300fsb with my E6300 without breaking into a sweat. Really nice features as well, i can well see why they describe it as the Digital Home motherboard. It's audio features are very good indeed.

It'd be good to know the shipping bIOS as well and if it will support Conroe out-of-the-box - I've no interest in buying another chip just so I can flash the BIOS to use Conroe as I hear others are having to do.
