X-FI Extreme Music OEM v Retail

I was wondering what the retail bundle (LN11686) has over the OEM bundle (LN14778)?
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

I'm not sure about the retail version, but I just bought the OEM one. The card come in a plain Brown box, with the driver on a CD inside the box and that's about it.

The CD is pretty much useless as Creative has just updated the driver for the X-Fi

Warranty will be shorter i think and you don't get as much customer support i think

I know about the usual difference between OEM and retail. But between these two there is an excessive difference. I want to know physically what is different.

    Oh right!

I think they are the same. There were some OEM X-Fi's out a while ago taken from dells or something which were slightly different physically.

Hopefully a Scan CS member will advise

There is no difference ... the Warranty is shorter on the OEM and you dont get the retail packaging but in in terms of physical difference ... there is none ...
