    PSU for ati X1900xt

    hi,

    lad in our office has just bought a asus case, asus sli motherboard, XP3700 and a X1900xt.

    the psu in the case isnt good enough, what you would recoomend at the budget end??

    Hiper are crap (they have a high failure rate). This would be a better choice:

    Hiper arent crap, I had one (Red Type-R) for 2 years before me sticking a screwdriver in it blew it up

    I would take the Antec NeoHE over the Tagan anyday of the week (partially because it is made by Seasonic)

    Another vote for the hiper, have a few mates with them. all very happy. Considering one to replace my RMA'd Enermax. Going to have a play with a friends later. Shame it only has 4 SATA connectors, Great for most people,but I have 6 hard drives

    Looks like I'll be using some convertors.

    EDIT: A friend just pointed out my obvious mistake. I can run my 2 Raptors from molex and use SATA connectors for the rest.
