Maxtor SATA drive failing, what one ?

right i know with PATA i can run maxtors drive tool to find out what my bad drive is.
i know i have one as windows drops dead and needs a chkdsk /r from recovery console to get it running again, it finds and fix's errors, then drops dead within 48 hours.

now im running A8n32SLI deluxe mobo, drives are on the Nv raid channel..

so is there anything i can use to test on SATA ?

this would be so easy if i didnt use raid0

well i found out at maxtors site, had to remove from raid array and put it on a SATA 2 controller, then maxblast ran, found errors & fixed them, fingers crossed, either way i know its the top drive so far, havn't tested the other one yet, will see how we go.

in any case for RMA i would use Maxtors advanced RMA service to get me a new drive here 1st
