    USB PCI Card

    Need to kow how many external ports this card has.

    Do you have any cards with 6 external ports ?

    6 ports wouldnt fit on the backplane. There might be one that uses up 2 slots via a ribbon cable or simlar, but ive not seen one
    Could always get 2 cards, or a cheap USB hub ?

    I didnt think it would have 6, anyhow 4's plenty for now so will get this one.

    I actually just took a look at the USB cables plugged into my PC and found of the 10 cables 5 of them arent actually connected to anything

    Not sure if it will make much difference to you, I read somewhere the NEC chipset USB cards are better than the other ones.

    I have the NEC chipset card from Scan (4 ports) and have a powered 4 port USB hub plugged in to one port.
