    Question Case Fans

Which would be better out of these 4 120mm case fans?

    120mm Akasa Amber Case Fan
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=154681

    120mm Silverstone FN121
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=292216

120mm Xclio 16 Blade Quiet Cooling Fan
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=375877

    120mm Zalman ZM-F3
    http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=396304

Noise isnt an issue for me as i just dont care

Which would give the maximum thermal cooling in my akasa-eclipse 62 case?

The akasa have an airflow rating of 44.8 cfm
The Silverstone have an airflow rating of 53.24 cfm
The Xclio have an airflow rating of 80 cfm
The airflow information was not available for the zalman.

As such if you wanted the best cooling, then the xclio fans would be the obvious choice.

Ram cooling fans are coming in soon in the form of the Corsair Dominatior RAM cooling fans.

They are not active on the website yet - but they should soon be coming and their catalogue or unique ID is LN15702.

They should be around the 11 pounds + VAT mark.

These were due a week ago but as yet they've not arrived.

I've been trying to ring our Corsair contact but it's sounds like he could be overseas (the ringtones slightly bizarre) and he's not answering as he could be asleep

As soon as I hear anything I'll pop a quick edit in here

Bear in mind that if you buy a case fan that can do 80cfm, it's likely to be a little on the loud side...now you say thats fine, fair enough, but with fans, you can buy a fan controller and limit the volts supplied to the fan to slow it down, reduce noise and reduce the cfm. you may or may not want to do this, but the high cfm fan at least gives you this choice.
