    Scythe order potential issue

    I'd just like one of you Scan guys to confirm something for me please.

    I ordered a few bits and bobs yesterday for a new rig, one of which was a Scythe Infitity heatsink. My printed order shows this correct (the Infinity, at £26.99 inc.), as does my first email, the order details one, while logging into my account on the website shows the cooler to be the Scythe Miné.

    Any ideas which one I'll end up getting please guys?

    Many thanks, Gav.

    • Lee H's system
      • Motherboard:
      • MSI Z370 Carbon Gaming
      • CPU:
      • Intel i7 8700K Unlocked CPU
      • Memory:
      • 16 GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 LPX
      • Storage:
      • 250GB 960 EVO + a few more drives
      • Graphics card(s):
      • 6GB Palit GTX 1060 Dual
      • PSU:
      • Antec Truepower 750W Modular Blue
      • Case:
      • Corsair 600T White Edition
      • Operating System:
      • Windows 10 PRO
      • Monitor(s):
      • 27" Asus MX279H & 24" Acer 3D GD245HQ + the 3D glasses
      • Internet:
      • Virgin Media
    According to the secure server the item on the invoice is as follows ;

    16139 Scythe Infinity Quiet CPU Cooler Quiet - Socket 478, LGA775, Socket 754, 939, 940, AM2

    */me logs into normal invoicing system - gasps with shock and then don's eyeglass and grows a dodgy wispy 'tache*

    Ahh I can see where the confusion arises as the Internal stock code shown on the invoice is showing the following ;

    HEAT/SCYTHE/INFINITY Scythe Mine Quiet HPipe CPU Co

    I'll see if the internal stock description can be ammended, but just to put you at rest the heatsink is the infinity

    I hope this information helps.

    Best Regards,

    Cheers Lee, that's what I wanted to hear.

    There's no mention of Infinity on the description on the order on the site, just "Scythe Mine Quiet HPipe CPU Co", though the stock code did match the Infinity.

    Just needed to check, many thanks.

    Thanks for actually noticing that Gav

    I emailed purchasing with the screenshots and he's amended the internal description now so it stops the confusion as I expect a lot of people would have asked about this as well.

    The internal system now shows " Scythe Infinity HPipe CPU Cool "

    Best Regards,
