    Urgent delivery help please

    I made an order last week and specified delivery on Tuesday (I would have gone for Friday but this wasn't an option). Nothing has been picked as yet, and I decided to get another item. For some reason this is showing as delivery Wednesday.

    Question: why are we now on 48+ hours delivery? Always used to be next day for order before 4pm.

    Question 2: Can you possibly get the 2nd order bundled with first (and why not allow an option on the website)?

    Have to say I've noticed the delivery slip of late. I used to get all my orders next day, now its the day after if I'm lucky.

    Means I can no longer rely on scan for urgent orders and I have to go elsewhere

    The estimated despatch dates are based on a volume of orders and time the order is placed. This is a very busy period (time of year ) so estimated despatch dates can be confirmed of up to 1-2 days later than normal. However this is a temporary problem and we have already purchased massive new warehouse space to combat this issue.

    Your order ending 428, placed on Saturday > order processed on Monday for despatch Tuesday for delivery Wednesday? The requested delivery Date: 25/10/2006 has been set for you.

    The order ending 884 has the requested Requested Delivery Date: 24/10/2006 with the LN 15524, which was a pre order item when the order was placed.

    If you would like to combine the 2 orders and amend the OOS item please contact CS on - 0870 755 4747 so they can amend the order for you.

    At the moment the automated e-mails confirm earliest estimated despatch date for that day, this is currently being changed so the automated e-mail will reflect the estimated despatch selected if different so this will be clearer.

    Even so at the moment between 90 - %98 of order are still being shipped for next day delivery

    Chris that may be but I haven't had one ship next day for some time

    Maybe its because I tend to leave it till later in the day to order but even so.

    Hope it improves tho as other than that you are great. I like knowing that if I ring I will actually speak to a human within a minute who will actually have a brain too

    Your best option would be to try and place the order before 12pm and to contact the sales dept to confirm the cut off point for the day. Please note especially on Monday due to a backlog of orders from the weekened there can be an extra day added to the despatch date.

    Hopefully we can then get your orders to you for next day

    Tuesday is the 24th, and was not an option when I ordered Saturday, so I had to put in 25th, which is Wednesday (=48 hours). 24th is when I want delivery (so it arrives concurrently with the other delivery, as ought to be obvious?). I have spoken to someone on the phone today and requested this, but whether it happens we'll have to see.

    Note that this would actually save SCAN money!

    It seems I made a mistake in my original post, which I have now corrected. If delivery Tuesday was not an option this would be because this option is not available due to a back log of orders.

    Orders placed over the weekend and Monday can have an extra day added to the despatch date because of an outstanding volume of orders.

    If 2 separate orders are placed then 2 separate orders will be processed these would not be automatically combined together, if you have an outstanding order and wish to add items to the order you would need to contact CS to add extra items.

    I cant see any notes showing you have contact CS, however I have combined the orders for you now myself by cancelling the order ending 428, the invoice number ending 884 has all items added.

    Please confirm if you would like an SR for the OOS item or would like this to be removed so we can ship the order without further delay.

    Unfortunately work got in the way of an earlier reply and then I had to rearrange my schedule before replying.

    One point - none of the items were showing OOS when I ordered. I actually changed a couple of items from my initial picks because they were OOS.

    As it is, if delivery can be made tomorrow then please replace LN15524 with LN12526 & LN14072.

    I made an order this morning at 10, hoping that would be early enough to receive it tomorrow, but even then my only option was a despatch on wednesday, arriving thursday. I've checked my order status which shows as "awaiting despatch". Is there no way to get this out today in time for playing with tomorrow?

    Shall I list my order number or is there nothing you can do? I would have thought cut off for fespatch wouldnt have been this early
