Lost free postage?

I've looked through all the 'free postage conditions' and done searches on this but couldn't come up with an explanation...

Basically when I log into scan now, i'm no longer getting the free postage applied. I posted a load yesterday and half exected to sign in today and have the free postage applied again, but no show. Is this due to the 3 posts per week rule? Or are there other equations that i'm not aware of that contribute to whether you're 'eligible' for the free postage?

Ok, so i might not be the most frequent visitor to hexus (being a mod on another forum) but i come over every now and again and post long, detailed and relevant posts, with an average of 1.5 a day...is there any other reason why the free postage may have been taken away?

I've found that to get free postage you have to log into Scan through the 'MyAccount' link at the top of the Hexus Scan forum rather than going there directly.

i would have thought its due to your post count - you cant just not post then hammer it the day before an order just to bring your post average per day up

That's also possible.. however when he sends his real name etc to me - I can check on the status better

Agreed.

I expected to sign in the day before and have the free postage available, and when i found it wasn't, i thought, 'hmm, maybe i need to post a bit more for it', so did, and still no free postage.

If you checked the dates of all my posts then you'll notice that I'm not just looking to 'hammer it' the day before an order.

Also, my relatively low post count shouldn't be an issue, if you go by the strict rules, you need 25 post count and then a minimum of 3 posts per week, and i've an average of 1.5 posts a day (= ~10 a week).

But i dont wanna get bogged down with numbers, i appreciate they're a guide and you shouldn't look to just scrape along with the minimum and abuse the system.

If i'm deemed to have not contributed enough or regularly enough or whatever, i'll make a point of contributing more...i'm not having a go or anything. I just thought i was ok and wondered if there's a problem somewhere.

like David said the best thing to do is PM him and let him investigate it, like you said your numbers do seem to add up so there mite be a problem somewhere in there system.
