    Silverstone and Etasis

Has anyone anything good ar bad to say about these PSU's? I'm of the opinion they are great PSU's but how quiet are they compared to say the OCZ GameXStream or Corsair PSU's?

    Any comments welcome. Thanks.

I would recommend the Corsair HX series PSU's they are whisper quite and are also modular. We use these regualry due to the high quality and stability

    Just another question, or 2.
    750 watt Etasis ET750 SLI ATX £111.61
    750 watt Silverstone SST-ST75ZF £116.35
Are these the same, as in do they have the same amount of connectors and are they braided the same, basically are they just rebranded differently?

    Then
    850 watt Etasis ET850 £129.24
    850 watt Silverstone SST -ST85ZF £163.33

Same questions as above, connector same etc?

    Many thanks.

The silverstone look to have a different amount of connections compared to the Etasis series. Both have the 4 PCI-E ( on the 850W varients that is ) but the Silverstone has 6 x SATA whereas the Etasis has 8x SATA.

The 750w are also showing similar differences on the connections.

    Best Regards,

Do you know how many 4 pin molex connectors are on each? I'm now edging towards the Etasis 850 for future proofing, then maybe the most difficult how loud are they compared to say the OCZ GameXTream?

    Thanks again.

According to a few sources including the Etasis website there are no mentions to Molex power connections at all.

I've asked for these to be brought from the warehouse so I can verify this for myself shortly.

    Best Regards,

I've checked these and they do have molex power connections as well as the SATA power connections.
