Lightbulb Geting citylink to drop parcels next door!!??

    Hi,

    just another quick question!

I ordered something of you last friday but missed both the deliveries becasue i was at work normally citylink drop it at my neighbors but i have been informed that they cant do this without the premision of the sender

    which is Scan

I have now collected my parcel but am thinkin of ordering some more stuff tommorow

    so the question really is....

how do i go about giving you premision to give citylink premision to drop it at my neighbors if no ones in coz going to the depot everytime is a rite pain!

    Thanks

    Dave!

If you're not going to be in - the easiest method would be to select your neighbours address as the delivery point.

Or sneak out in the middle of the night and swap the door numbers

    Cheers,

Loving that idea! Although might raise a few qustions if caught...! ;-)

Am wondering where to get mine delivered as well at the mo. Delivered to work might make sense, but a complete system ordered to work might be a problem!

Could do but...im paying with a debit card which means the item can only be delivered to the billing address??

more importantly i dnt no my neighbours that well i dont think they mind signing for a parcels when no ones in but actually ordering stuff to their house is taking the mik abit!?

is there no way of telling citylink that if no ones in to try the neighbours??

    Thanks

    Dave

Not true. You can configure a card holders address and a delivery address, which can be different. I order using a debit or credit card and have all of my stuff delivered to my work address.

No - the alternative address is disabled on our site, in order to prevent misabuse by fraudsters.

However, if you contact Customer Services, they may be able to arrange an alternative delivery address - depending on circumstances.
