    GFX card swap

I am returning an XFX 7950GT XT today that I purchased a few weeks ago. I was wondering that when a replacement is sent would I be able to change it for the XFX 7950GT XXX.

The reason being that when I purchased the card it was about £203, now it has gone down considerably and the XXX is around the £203 mark now. I would prefer this card and would assume that as it is about the same price I paid it should be simply a straight swap.

If you are issuing a return, it cannot be replaced for a different product.

Log a returns query - and see if you are eligible for a refund. Then order a new product.

That would be the easiest method.

I don't work in returns - if the poster logs a query with the returns team, they will be able to assist him.

If the card was delivered faulty then I think it can be returned within 7 days for a full refund (even if scan didn't explicitly say that, you'd be covered by distance selling regs).

RMA is logged and I have phoned the customer services team. They said that all I can do is get a refund then re order what I want.

Thats no big issue, probably means I will be without a GFX card for longer due to waiting for funds to clear etc. Although I guess I could order my new card ASAP as my old one one definately faulty.
