    SD card not Wii compatible?

Hi there, i bought this 2GB SD card the other day to use with my Wii, but the Wii talks about the card not being recognised. It does, however, recognise a 1GB card (which i bought for a different device).

    Nintendo themselves
talk about 2GB cards being fine.

I have tried formatting it with my PC (initially leaving it as 'FAT' and subsequently tried 'FAT32' also), still no joy.
My PC can obviously read and write to the card just fine, so i don't think it is faulty as such.

Could this be a voltage issue with this particular card (that makes it different to other 2GB SD cards)?? Or am I missing something here?

Edit: Just been reading about SDHC on wikipedia. Could this be the issue? I am not clear if only 4GB cards and above are SDHC or if this 2GB one is also.
And it would be a little surprising if Nintendo didn't support it.
    Can anyone shed any light?

Sorry but as hardly any of us were able to get a wii we cannot really speculate as to what the issue lies with.

As such, the best thing to do is log the issue Here and the returns guys will be able to assist you further.

    Best Regards,

    Best Regards,
Thanks for that Lee, although i wasn't specifically asking for a swap yet (still debating in my mind if i should just use the 1GB).
Also wasnt boasting about having a Wii either!

PS Don't you just hate it when your Aston Martin gets dirty? And struggling to park both Ferrari's on the drive-way is such a pain.

sdhc is much more expensive than sd, and requires special drivers, so its likely they wouldnt work in a wii
