    Question Microsoft habu

Hi just purchased the new Microsoft Habu from you, however when i start the computer the mouse is not detected, the only way i can get it to recognise is unplug and reconnect it, the mouse works but the side buttons do not work correctly. Should i return it for a replacement?? Thanks for any help

Have you installed any third party software with it? Are your USB drivers working properly? I've had issues in the past with USB mice when my USB drivers weren't installed properly. (can be found on motherboards home page usually)

Had the same problem myself. it was trial an error but....

Uninstall the device from your computer and remove the mouse.

Reinstall the drivers first before plugging in the mouse.

I tried 3 different USB ports before it finally found one it liked.

If it doesn't work first time just keep trying.

overclocking can also make the mice not power up properly...but as said - find a nice port that can work at the right polling rate and with the required power and you shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for all suggestions, i plugged it into another usb port and that seems to have allowed it to be recognised when the computer boots up.
