looks like the official release date is next monday februrary 12th, seen a few reports of people already having them on the net and i know a LOT of people who are very interested in these cards providing their sufficiently cheaper than the 640mb version of course.

really you sure about that as last time i checked nvidia didnt even say they existed. 320mb tho? on modern games? in my opinion that aint going to be enough in a years time without another upgrade. are they really worth it in the long run?

they`d have to be priced at about £175 to be tempting as you can get the 640mb gts for £240.

Sorry, but we can't really comment on products that apparently don't yet exist.

Strange other retailers have them in stock ready for the launch on the 12th Feb. I would have thought Scan would be in the same position.

lol this thread is funny, i love the way everyone apart form scan claims to have them yet nvidia havent even said they exist. seriously tho this card if it ever exists is like wasting money, i cant see 320mb of mem is really going to run games like crysis at decent res/settings let alone anything else in a years time. people should save up

While not commenting on that specifically, I have certainly come across situations where retailers have advertised and claimed to have products that I know they didn't have. For instance, several months before HP launched their first colour laser (yeah, a few years back), one retailer advertised it for sale. I rang and was told "in stock, shipping next week".

That was interesting, since according to the Product Manager at HP, there were exactly two in the UK at that time. One was doing the rounds of major corporate clients for evaluation, and the other (the press eval unit) was sitting on my desk, three feet from me, when that company assured me they had them in stock.

They actually started shipping them nearly three months later.

So while I have no idea who does or does not have these cards in stock, it's certainly the case that some retailers have been known to tell little porkies.

In case anyone should wonder, I'm not talking about Scan, or any company supported on here, and nor am I talking about OcUK.
