I've avoided EVGA for a while now. Mainly because the noise curve tends to go ballistic in the final portion of the chart and I just don't want that in my machine, but IIRC there was another problem...

it's like anything, some of theirs are very very good and some aren't. Read PSU reviews and check noise-load curves and load-efficiency curves very very carefully, then look at warranty. ...
