Based on the ones I've had excellent after-sales support on, Kustom PC's, Overclock.co.uk and over-clock.co.uk.
Scan were reasonable when I had to return a pair of faulty raptors, confirming they were dead quickly enough, but then took a while to replace them. I'd still use them, but they haven't impressed me as much as the first 3.
As for OcUK, having experienced their after-sales first hand, I wouldn't touch them with yours. "Yes sir, I know your monitor seems to be faulty, but you'll need to speak to the manufacturer to get it replaced." Hmm...
Cheers,
Stephen
I've been using ebuyer for AAAGES. Early days were good, then it went a bit downhill, now it seems good again.
ordered a few times from scan and have always been excellent. so those would be my top 2.
I've never had faulty goods with OCUK, so I can't comment on the aftersales, but there are other factors that put me off buying from them too.
dont use ebuyer.
use scan
eBuyer
Scan.
Pretty much sums it up for me. Used to use dabs, fast delivery but customer service isn't to the same standard. I used overclockers and no problems yet although due to the negative aura in this forum I don't think I'll use them again.
Just to show Scan must be nearly back to normal. I put in an order with Ebuyer on Sunday using free delivery. Will be delivered tomorrow. Put in an order with Scan yesterday with free delivery. Just had my email saying ready for despatch for delivery tomorrow. So more of my orders heading Scans way.
Hmmm.
After recent warehouse problems with Aria, I decided never again.
So I bought my TFT from Scan. Ordered before 4pm. Anticipated next day delivery. Certainly nothing to suggest there would be any problems.
Didn't get dispatched.
Waited a day.
Got an email telling me the order had been delayed due to warehouse problems and giving no indication of when my screen might arrive.
Phoned them. Was told it "would definitely be dispatched Friday night and be with me on Monday"
Waited another day.
Guess what. Just had an email telling me the order has been delayed due to warehouse problems and giving no revised date of delivery.
Again.
No, I'm not very patient at present, having been royally messed about by Aria - I'll never shop there again.
I now seem to be in the middle of the same experience with scan.
Are there any companies out there where I can just visit their website, buy something and have it delivered?
It doesn't seem much to ask.
Scan, Dabs, Komplett, Kustom and TekHeads.
Still nothing from Scan.
Checked online status. Order not yet picked.
5 days now.
have u contacted CS? http://web6.scan.co.uk/Support/Query.ASP?QueryType=C

Never Grow Old, And Never Die"
Yep.
Spoken to them twice.
Apparently it'll arrive Tuesday.
Definitely.
Without fail.
Come what may.
Thing is - just checked my account status and it's yet to be picked or dispatched.
So that's now two broken promises.
I wouldn't mind if I was told at the outset that it'll be x amount of time and they'll not bill my card until then, but I've now been lied to twice by Scan staff. They seem little better than Aria, and that's an insult I never intended to level at any IT retailer!
I trust anyone I except PC world
Although partically ebuyer and scan are both trusworthy IMO
Up until now, Scan were at the very top of my list.
Now, beginning to doubt I'll order from them again.
Another SCAN but have also had good experience with Dabs, Ebuyer, Misco and others. But will always use Scan first.
Scan for me so far !
