After the last few experiences with scan, I tend to shop around now, If I can get there to pick something up in person, fair enough, but even using their Q collect service, they kept us waiting 70mins because they couldnt find one of the items.

Used both Ebuyer and Komplett. No complaints with Komplett, like others have mentioned the Ebuyer free delivery takes way too long and would look elsewhere if I needed something delivered in a hurry.

Had to return a HD to ebuyer, pretty quick refunding money. Awaiting my first scan order so fingers crossed!

I have gone off Dabs after they got my order wrong, and I could not speak to them about it.

These days I make it a rule not to deal with any mail order company that does not have a customer support telephone line staffed by humans (With good English fluency). I often check by phoning customer support and checking.

I am persevering with Scan, though their slow delivery is annoying. I remember about 6 months ago that if you placed your order before about 1pm it would be dispatched the same day, and you would have it the next. These days with delays it can be nearly a week. If it where not for hexus free delivery I would probably not be persevering so much.

Has anyone heard of 'House of Rajas' in Bolton? They used to sell computer equipment on ebay and are one definitely NOT to trust.

I have bought stuff from various places, never really settling on the same one. I'm looking here to check out who I should be buying from

Scan , mostly use them cos their usually the cheapest for the stuff I want, and OcUK.

No problems with either them to.

Used them all, the free shipping is tha clincher at the moment, although the ebuyer free leap yr shipping can be a pita, I stll think the user account is prob the best

It's a tough one - everyone has been burned by at least one company. They're all good normally, it's when things go wrong that it can cause problems. Personally, I like to buy from Komplett, Ebuyer, Dabs and OcUK. On their day, Overclockers are awesome, their within 28day warranty is second to none, I've sent items as faulty on Monday and had replacements on Thursday before. Equally, sent items in January and got replacement in March (albeit a more expensive model).

They're all fairly safe, just always use your credit card and you won't have a problem. Happy shopping.

Scan and KustomPC. Both have great delivery and first class after-sales.
All the others either have rubbish customer service or very poor after-sales.

Has anyone heard of 'House of Rajas' in Bolton?
Indian Take Away and a PC store all rolled into one!!!! Great Idea

Scan right now, probably mainly due to not having to return anything to them.

Every other company I've dealt with has been absolute **** at returns.

    Scan, Kustom, tekheads, lowestonweb, chillblast.

Haven't used dabs in ages but had no problems with them when i did. Used ebuyer as well, though only ever ordered cables and such like.
