Make sure you read the small print, some places wont deliver to commercial premises.

It cost me a fiver to send a hard drive to maxtor (Ireland I think) and it was insured, cant remember how much for though.

Use the royal mail price finder. http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/Pr...ar=pricingcalc

I sent back a drive international signed for for and it was about £9. I am guessing you want the £500 insurance option which is why your getting prices of £15?

Or if you want to use a courier I use this company regulalry. http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Worldwide-Parcel-Xpress-Ltd Their website: http://www.cicltd.co.uk/

The Germany service advertised is for upto 30kg but ring them up for a cheaper service as they should have a upto 5kg or upto 10kg service.

Re: can someone reccomend a parcel company

You'll have to pay the £14, on eBay you can usually find cheap services. But I had a look and the cheapest is £17.25 to Germany, albeit with a real courier and upto 30KG.

Re: can someone reccomend a parcel company

was looking at pharos looks good but what does this mean >>

In Addition a surcharge of £3.00 will apply to any shipment not entirely contained in an outside shipping container, or a consignment that is packaged in metal or wood. Pharos will bill these extra charges direct to your credit card.

so in other words, if i dont have it in a container like a wooden crate, they will charge me £3?

No, it means it has to be boxed up and NOT in a metal or wood container.

They're expensive anyway, payperdrop on eBay use DHl and it's only £6 for most things.

    Try DHL, or even FedEx.
