    Downloadable high definition films?

Well im just curious if there are any good website where you can download films such as the bourne series for a certain price. I thought this would be a better way than spending out £60 on a drive for blu-ray and then buying £20 each films when it would probably be cheaper buying online to downlaod straight to my hard drive.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

You do realise the size of HD films! I think Bourne is around 40gig. Just rent them from blockbuster watch them and give them back. I hardly ever watch them more than once.

Apple TV do download HD rental as do Microsoft for the 360.

It's a fair few gigs for a 10 minute film, does your ISP even allow you to do it under a FUP?

and why wait for organic light emitting diodes?

If they were 'ripped down' to 4.4gb they would not really be high def or blu ray quality. A normal standard def dvd movie ranges from about 4gb to 6gb.

    Hi dude,

Why don’t you try some original HD-DVDs?

They are much more cheaper than blu-ray discs recent days and you can get the drives from scans only for less than £70.

I am sure HMV online has HD-DVD sales and the price starts at £2.99.

    The Bourne Supremacy HDDVD 23.38GB

The Bourne Identity HD DVD 25.18GB

    The Bourne Ultimatum 23.56GB

So, could be 75GB in total.

    Good luck dude.

Btw, HD-DVD drive will cost around £20 and the three films should cost no more than £20 (they have all gone for £4 at some time in the past.

    True.

If you don’t want get Blu-ray, you can forget Blue-ray/HD-DVD/DVDRW combo drives, and go to Gamestation (in store only), they have XBOX HD-DVD rom on sale.

For only XB360 HD-DVD Rom for £19.99. Plus five (or two? Can’t remember the offer now) HD-DVD movies for £24.99.

The only Bourne series movie I can find is still on sale is from Zavvi : http://www.zavvi.co.uk/Bourne-HD+DVD...14.r10.1/p.jsf but will cost you 4.99 for only supremacy. The price of the rest is still high IMO.

    Re: Downloadable high definition films?

sorry i forgot to say, i have a hd-dvd drive and about 10hd-dvd films its jsut that i would like to get brand new releases and buying a blu-ray drive wouldnt be cosgt effective imo, main tv in my house is a 32" crt tv and wont be replacing till it dies or OLED are in mass production as they are predicted to be out in the next couple of years, then i can make use of full hd on the tv. Currently im using the hd films on a 22" lcd tv/monitor so i didnt want to spend much on buying more things. Im trying to source bourne identity but its rare now lol. Ill just wait till blu-ray is cheaper and i get a hd tv for the house.

    Thanks guys.
