    Dell 2405

hi guys. ive got a dell 2405 fpw monitor which was left with me by dell when they delivered me a new one. However there is a 1 inch wide transparent green line down the right hand side. its from a failed tab apparently and will cost £89 to fix. would it be better for me to fix it and then sell it or just sell it with this fault? also does anyone know how much these monitors would sell for second hand?

If it can be fixed for £89, it's worth getting it fixed because it will be worth over £200 on ebay in good working condition, non-working it might be worth £50 on a good day.

It depends if you technically own it. As the way I read your post the monitor belongs to Dell.

Depends how long you have had it

Write to dell and give them 30 days to collect the faulty monitor or you will dispose of it as you see fit.

They might even misinterpret it as faulty and repair it for you
