    Harry Potter Pre-Order - Support HEXUS.net!

As many of you are probably waiting for this new book to be released in a few months why not take advantage of the best price on the net by getting the book deleivered to your door on the morning of release by Amazon.co.uk.

In doing so you will be supporting HEXUS, all at no additional cost to you! Seeing as you would probably buy the book anyway if its your thing why not order it today

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter 6) [Adult edition] £9.99 - Hardback edition.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Harry Potter 6) [Childrens edition] £9.99 - Hardback edition.

Both books are due for release on the 16th of July.

Thanks for any support you can give HEXUS.

The kid's edition has a pretty illustration on the front, the adult's has a more sombre one or something...

Harry Potter, why do people like it? I know it has something of a story line, but its been stretched far too much. Plus J.K.Rowling has about as much writing skill as she has love for the money being pushed into her back pocket by continuing this frankly ludicrous series. Now with Warner Bros. on her paycheck as well, shes laughing, which is less than I can say for the poor people who still read her books....

Yeah, I do read a lot of dystopian books such as 1984, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World etc, but I like more light hearted stuff too. This however is just plain b/s!

Whether you like it or not, you can not deny that the HP stories are extremely well crafted, can't-put-down stories; which have ensnared the younger generation into reading. Must be a good thing!

Excelsion, why is it "B/S" as you put it. Sound like trolling to me.

Oh, and will we get it on day of release? Edit> Just read the thred

You call that inspiring the younger generation to read? I can see it now, J.K.Rowling has spawned the next generation of Daily Mail readers.

Not a fan myself but know many people who are. It's helped encourage kids to read which can't be a bad thing despite the slightly retarded movies.

Guys guess what, here is a Harry Potter SPOILER:

    He wakes up

    Meets his friends

    Goes to school

    Gets in bother

    Does some naff magic

    Saves the day

    Goes home.

I am really miffed at how you can get out 6 books of the same stuff over and over and over, absolute toss is this Harry Potter lark :/

    That's my 2p anyway.

Granted it has helped kids to read but what happens when the harry potters stop You should all pick up a copy of these books:

    Nineteen-Eighty-Four
    Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich
Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep

That should get you well into reading, one by George Orwell and two books by Philip K Dick, now that is writing at its best

Out of interest are they releasing any more movies for this Harry Potter series, just so I know when to hide myself away when a mate of mine starts asking to go see it :S
