    large disk order discounts ?

    hi all,

I'm about to place a large $home_user order from an online shop.

I'm about to order 5 300+ Sata disks 4 160+ (not got an exact size yet but no smaller than that)

Does anyone have any knowledge of shops that would consider cutting a deal - while its not the most expensive order I'd hope that a few shops may be happy to shift some stock and get throughput ?

if not - no problems just worth a try
    It is Inevitable.....

I think eBuyer does bulk discounts now doesn't it? Or possibly dabs.

    What are you setting up?

    G4 PowerMac - Tiger 10.4 - 512MB RAM
    MacBook - 2Ghz - 1GB RAM - 120GB HDD

    Rotel RC970BX | DBX DriveRack |2x Rotel RB850
    B&W DM640i | Velodyne 1512

Ebuyer usually do discounts for 5+ items. They're fairly insignificant most of the time though

You'd probably be better off going through a local computer shop to cut a deal, as most of the larger suppliers won't do anything unless you're buying 10+

Although, it might be worth asking the scan or Komplett guys in the forums here if they can do anything
