    20 Inch tft monitor

I've got a 22" crt monitor and i've decided to upgrade to a tft. I don't want to spend too much and my budget is £400

    My choices are...

    DELL 2005FPW - £328 + del

    or

    Formac Gallery Xtreme 2010 - £341 + del

I'm not sure which one to get, after reading some reviews i'm stil unsure.

    The specs are:

    DELL
    20"
    1680x1050
    16ms
    300cd
    600:1

    Formac
    20.1"
    1600x1200
    12ms
    300cd
    700:1

    Any advice would be helpful!

or...i could spend a lot less and get:

    Acer 8ms Widescreen AL1916W 19" :
    or
    Samsung SM913N 19":

Having moved from a Dell 21" CRT to a 19" LCD, I would say save some money and get a 19" LCD with DVI and save yourself £100 (you can get a good one for £200 with DVI). The extra 1" is not worth the £100-£150 premium.

Did not notice any real difference between 21" CRT and 19" LCD.

Would look at AG Neovo. I have one of these and they are great (£175 delivered) http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...uct_uid=101195

Or the 4ms Samsung with DVI. http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/produ...uct_uid=100479

I disagree - those Dell's are amazing. I now have a 2405FPW and its the best gaming experience ever

Buy the 20" - the extra resolution is WELL worth the money.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies.

I opted for the samsung sm913n

using it right now...it looks nice!

Bit dissapointed in games though. The textures look different compared to my 22" crt! >.<
It saves so much space no ghosting in cs: s, anime or movies. Glad i bought it.
