Just spotted this on Dabs, and ordered one:
7600GT 256MB PCI-Express. It's a Dabs Value (ie bog standard), but at £128 plus postage, mine will arrive in a few days for a total £134.75.
8 left in stock as I write this, minus my one.

The card arrived to day, and for your information it's this model:
Inno3d.
Seems to be a basic bog-standard 7600GT, but given the price I didnt expect otherwise.
It comes with driver CD (inc WinDVD), a game called DeltaForce Xtreme which is about a year old (never heard of it, dont know how good it is), TV out lead, DVI to VGA dongle and a PCI-Express power connector (a bit strange as it doesnt need it!).
All in all, it's a bargain!

needless to say, that it goes for 170 in overclockers, brand new.
I am not trying to step on MSIC parade, every one see price/performace diffrently, beside the ebay ones are used. I am trying to help other people who read this thread, thats all
Fair play mate, not taking offence anyway. Well done for spotting them, although it was only technically 1 at £142 + £6 postage. Still, that person got a serious bargain!

ok m8, I hope your enjoying your card, I have not myself upgraded to PCI-E yet, although I feel that most of us got forced to upgrade
the 7600gt is good value, although the 7900gt is far better for a bit more

In percentage terms, it's a big price increase really. Those people who have 7900 GT's in stock to sell tend to want about £250 for them, and most 7600 GT's are about £140
So about 70-80% more money
Not really comparable.

It seems that at 1600 x 1200 and under, the 7900GT has the crown.
Above this, 2 x 7600GT's takes it.
Anandtech, Battlefield 2.
You can however buy 1 x 7900Gt for £199 (see another thread), whereas 2 x 7600GT's would be £260ish.
If you can afford it, buy a 7900GT.
