    upgrade time

it's time for a upgrade on my pc

going to move to a e6600 based system using a asrock dual-vsta for now so i can keep my agp gfx then get a nforce mobo and a dx10 card when they are released.

wondering if i should change my psu eye-t 450w el cheapo jobbie

prob have 2 change my cheapo elixir ram 2 after a gd 2gb ddr2 kit around the £100-£140 mark.

whats the best ram i can get in this sort of price range also any advice on changes to my proposed upgrade.

check my system too see my current specs i will be keeping everything but cpu/mobo/ram.

also want to know best place 4 buying parts was thinking scan for cpu and mobo

    Whats your maximum budget?

There are a couple of places that do 2GB DDR2 G.Skill kits for £140 including delivery. Might want to check that out.

If you want to go Core 2 Duo, which I suspect you do then you will need to change your PSU, check out the Asus P5B for the motherboard and possibly Tagan/Seasonic/Hiper for the PSU.

budget hadnt come up with 1 dont want to spend a load on a board as im gonan change to an nforce based one when they realease a stable good overclocking board. and i havent had my 6800gs for that long so dont want to fork out for a new pci-e one only to have to get another card in a few months time. as said im going to get an e6600 (core 2 duo)
