interesting that there is still crossfire support as well, I remember rumours that crossfire wouldnt be supported in future intel chipsets

I was thinking of avoiding DDR2 as well (as i've no real gain from upgrading to Core/DDR2 for what I do with my home PCs).

Yup same here. Current PC is plenty fast enough. DDR3 should be viable by the time I change it.

I'm probably going to drop a honking big graphic card in mine over the next year.. and not a lot else. Are you waiting to see what the R600/8900 will be like before making the DX10 jump (like me)?

yep, still on ddr here. kinda glad i didnt go c2d. now i can get even better
