The new 40GB and 60GB PS3 consoles have today hit UK stores with Sony hoping that gamers will be flooding in to take advantage of the new offers.

slight issue is the elite doesn't have an HD-DVD drive - you need to spend an extra £110 or so to add that capability. the text of the article makes it sound like the 360 elite has hd-dvd out of the box
