Looks ace!
Looks great, but won't that crucify your battery pretty sharply, if you have video playing on your home screen all the time plus have a constant data connection to stream it all? I would also have thought it would need a pretty beefy CPU to do all that which further sucks the life of the battery pretty quickly. Just a thought, but it does look good.
We have an interview coming soon with one of Symbian's VPs to explain a lot more about their technology - but a lot was being made about intelligent power-up/down in the new systems
This concept is tried and tested in notebook design (for example), where processors from companies like ATI have been switching off multiple sections with a chip to save power until it is needed
Given that Symbian is backed by the 'BIG BOIs' like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG and Motorola...
...some of these guys will certainly have a small/light/long-life solution in the pipeline

I kept 6 trusted serving men, they taught me all I knew.
There names were what and where and why and how and when and who.
(I also had the HEXUS forums on speed dial just in case )
UPDATE: We DO have an interview with a Symbian VP - over here...
