    GeIL EvoOne heatpipe-cooled memory - exclusive shots!

    GeIL let us take shots of its innovative new EvoOne memory modules. They're cooled by a novel heatpipe-and-heatfin assembly and hitting the market real soon.

    Oh for God's sake. Heatpipe this, heatpipe that. If ever there was a component that needed a heatpipe least, the memory chip was it.

    Actually, memory can benefit greatly from cooling as it allows them to work at much faster speeds when overclocked. Therefore allowing greater overall system performance since the processor can retrieve data from it more quickly. Meaning there is every need for adequate memory module cooling if you want the best performance from your system.

    True, but its not about whether it needs it... its about whether people will buy it anyway
