The latest controversial subject to hit the headlines involves Killzone 2 developer Guerilla Games, who released a number of stunning looking screenshots for their first person shooter last week.

Admittedly, it's not the biggest crime in the world and I'm sure Guerilla Games aren't alone in their screenshot doctoring exploits, but nevertheless it doesn't exactly give me confidence in the game, and it automatically makes me think that any any game that looks 'too good to be true' probably is.

Oh my, someone has doctored a screen shot, its the end of the world as we know it!!!!!

Come on, this has happened plenty of times before, so they cleaned it up a bit. So what?

I don't think it's so much a matter of images being doctored. Weren't the devs on this game picked on before for showcasing CGI clips that they claimed to be in-game? Something like that, I remember them having to make a statement later saying it was all animation.

I think this news item is making the rounds on the basis of their previous marketing of the game.
