That is a fair point. There are almost no US sites that include non US residents in their competitions or even offers.
Half of the stuff you get for joining FilePlanet is US only

Re: ZERO-G: The winner's story from Dan and Ken!

Cozwin, Sorry you feel that way. I've been reading HEXUS daily for over 3 years. The contest didn't list residency requirements & the HEXUS crew didn't find out until after I'd been selected as a winner.

I also read a number of other British websites on a daily basis (plus a few others from around the world), I also enter their contests, should I stop that as well? I've won a few things before, but nothing of this magnitude.

David, hate to feel that I've generated any ill-will for HEXUS competitions from your home based readership.

    Ken

I'm sure there's no ill will at all Ken.

Personally my gripe is with the US sites that restrict offers and competitions to US residents.

I think it's entirely reasonable that Hexus have no residency requirements. I just wish people like Fileplanet recognised that there is life outside the US. They're quite happy to take our money. We just get less value for money because we can't have everything they offer to you guys.

how come UK girls never win??*

Looked like an awesome trip, I would have entered if my passport had the required time on it, but it's away at the moment being updated with another dodgy photo.

Yeah... mines ran out so I'm glad in one way as that dodgy passport photo of being just 16, long curly hair and slight tan can now be put away forever

I so envy you guys that won... I mean not everyone gets to experience 0G.

    You lucky, lucky persons

Perhaps the non-US residents should petition Fileplanet to open their competitions to non-US residents? You can use HEXUS as a shining example of how things OUGHT to be done!

Let 'em know know the love needs to flow both ways.

    My dos centavos anyway...
